Keine Ahnung, was den Release angeht, aber ich hoffe doch, das das sehr bald sein wird... allerdings kommen mir da noch unangenehme Erinnerungen an die DoD 2.0 Entwicklung (obwohl ich nicht mal sooo lange gewartet habe, da ich ja erst recht spät auf DoD gestoßen war) ...

Nun ja - "It's done, when it's done", schätze ich mal  :rolleyes:

So, hier mal wieder ein paar spärliche Neuigkeiten:

I alot of people keep asking questions that have already been answered, so I thought I'd try to solve this problem by creating an info summary of the stuff in this thread up to now. It will be done in point form. No quotes, just the list.

-There is no release date yet.             :(

-All animations to be redone.               :)

-Possibility of a bipod on the BAR.        :]

-New possible Beta 4.0 maps: dod_thunder2, para_zalec, para_glider (updated), dod_stuka, dod_ramelle2, para_jagd, para_ouitz, dod_enemy, dod_forest, dod_caen2 (updated), dod_hedgerow (updated), dod_anzio (updated),                                :]

-Sound quality to improve from 8-bit to 16-bit.          8o

-New British team added.                                          8o

-British team will have both para and normal maps.   :]

-Americans and British will not be on the same map.  :)

-Competely new German and American regulars models to be made, including flying helmets.                        8o
     
-Brand new British voice commands with regional accents included.                                                       8o
 
-Possible Canadian custom player models for 4.0 to be release by team after main release.                           8)
 
-That prone strafing model bug is fixed.                      :)

-No more 5 points flags in dod_caen2                         ;(

-New func_tank team-specific spawn protector entity to be included.

für meinen geschmack sind das zu viele neue para_maps...erfreuen die sich denn so na beliebtheit das die Leute neue machen?

Ach und mein englisch ist ja noch schlechter als mein deutsch als könnte man mir mal den Satz "Competely new German and American regulars models to be made, including flying helmets" übersetzen?

das heisst soviel wie :
die deutschen und die ami models werden neu animiert und bekommen helme die wegfliegen koennen
